The traveler was living his life on the small house tree in the middle of forest. The house was saying it's belongs to the forest witch. He stays there while waiting for the witch go back. But for many months, the witch still hasn't back yet. The traveler began doubt that he someday would be able to go to City of Rainbow.
When he was thinking whether or not he should go back, someone knocking the door. It was beaver.

"Hey," said Nicholas suddenly from the tree stump where he played as a knight in front of their house, "do you want go play in the forest?"
"Father said we couldn't, it's too dangerous." Answer Gilbert while picking wild flowers in their yard.
"Just don't tell daddy then." Nicholas jumps runs and then thrusting into the mid air pretending there's a monster there.
"No, I still don't want it. It's creepy there."
Looking at his brother then look at the forest, Nicholas says, "What's creepy about it? I didn't feel anything."
"I still don't want to."
Nicholas walks to his brother and then pull Gilbert stand, his flowers were falling like rain to the ground. "Come on, it will be fun. Just like the story daddy told us."
"It's okay; we won't go too far into it. We just pretend that we're the traveler." Nicholas dragging Gilbert with him to the forest.
Gilbert stop walking when they in the entrance to the forest, "No, I'm scared, Nicholas."

"Hey, don't you think lately the forest has been seem restless?" asked one of the guard to Kennard who was on duty that night.
"Yes." Kennard look the surrounding. "It does seem so."
Both of them seeing deep into the forest, but the forest were too thick. Even with the full moon that night, the farthest they can see it's only about a few meters ahead.
"It gives a creep feeling. I hate to guard on this kind of night."
Kennard only give him apologetic smile. Indeed, how many years since the last time the forest restless?
"It's almost twenty years," someone said like answering Kennard questions.
"I'm sorry?" said Kennard.
"Twenty years. It's almost twenty years since the last time the forest like this." It was the old man that says it. The oldest night guard in their town. How many people asked him to retire, but he always rejects it. He always said, 'I'm waiting someone from the other side. Until that person come to pick me up, will not leave this place!'

The Promise Child
"Daddy, daddy." Called Nicholas.
Their father who was reading in the living room peek from the newspaper to see his both twin sons were running to his way. "Nicholas. Gilbert," he called. "You both supposedly already in bed asleep." He accusing.
Nicholas and Gilbert is a ten years twin. Nicholas is the older one, or so he believes. Because he felt he was braver. So as the one he protects, Gilbert should be his younger brother. Gilbert is such a shy, introvert, and a timid person; the opposite of Nicholas.
Hearing his father accusing tone, Gilbert was hiding behind Nicholas.
"Gil said he saw something. It was just a dream I said, but he still afraid." Nicholas explained.
They father putting aside his newspaper. "What did you see, Gilbert?" he asked.
Shrinking himself behind his brother's body, Gilbert answers whispering. "I... then..."
